The Deerfield Math Competition is a mathematics competition for middle school students. Established in 2017, DMC is held annually at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts in late Spring. DMC is entirely student-organized & student-ran by members of the Deerfield Academy Math Club. The problems are student written and the contest, inspired by the organizers own experiences participating in math competitions, not only provide for an intellectual challenge, but also help prepare students to compete at the high school level.
Participation & Cost

Students in ninth grades or below are welcome to participate in the DMC.

We accept registration for teams (4-6 students per team and not necessarily from same school) and individuals.

There is no limit on how many teams a school can send.

Individuals will be combined into teams at the competition.

Participation event is free. There is no registration fee.
When and What
Each round, teams will be put into classrooms and proctored by Deerfield students. Students will get 10 minutes after the allotted exam time to submit their answers to the proctors.
