Format
Individual Round

Individual General: The Individual General Round is a 60-minute, 10-problem round. The problems are un-interrelated and draw from all competition mathematics subjects.
Team Rounds

Individual Relay Round: The Individual Relay Round is a 60-minute, 24-problem round. Teams will collaborate on 8 sets with 3 problems each; within each set, successive problems depend on the solution of the previous.
Submission
Students will receive 10 minutes after the exam to submit their answers via Google Forms. Students will also have the choice to scan and turn in their work for further clarification.
Scoring

There is one individual round and each individual can score a total of 90 points.

Each problem in the Individual General Round is worth 9 points for a total of 90 points

There is one team round that accounts for a total of 360 points.

In the Team Relay Round, each problem is worth 15 points for a total of 360 points.

Team sweepstakes refers to the aggregate scores of the teams from individual and team rounds and is used to determine the final team rankings. A total of 720 points is available.

Individual round scores account for 360 points (90 points per individual × top four individuals per team).

For teams with less than 4 members, the lowest individual round scores will be added to account for missing members.​

Rules

Books, notes, calculators, calculator watches, or any other kind of computational aid are prohibited during all parts of the competition. Laptops, cell phones, or any other electronic communication devices are also not allowed. However, Drawing aids are permitted at DMC. Any individual or team breaking these rules will be disqualified.

Answers need to be simplified and exact unless otherwise specified. Fractions should be simplified & improper, and radicals should be simplified so that the radicand does not contain any fractions nor be divisible by the square of any integer greater than one. All numbers are in base 10 unless otherwise noted.
